Seems the end of winter is finally edging closer. It’s a great time to look back on the events of the past months. As I look back upon the millions of photos I seemed to have taken while in my home studio, I realized that the winter months were carried by the shared moments, however brief, with family and friends. Encounters often masked, or from a distance, by virtue of our shared love of flowers we were gifted with the opportunity to share a few words and some ever-so-needed laughter.
As I look back on the various creations of the past months, I see not only the flowers but also the faces of the caring people who had them created for their loved ones. I also see the delighted faces of the receivers as I delivered floral arrangements and centerpieces either at their door or mine. I realized that what creating with flowers has given me is a new language for sharing human experience and celebrating life’s special moments.
Thank you to all of you who have shared your photos with me..it gives me great pleasure. Thank you also, To all of you who have supported me and encouraged me through the initiation of this next chapter in my life.
